David Ojabo suffers injury at pro day

What a stupid reason

What’s stupid is calling peoples reasoning stupid because they don’t want to spend a first rounder on a guy who most experts call “raw” or “developing” or “situational rusher” when we need starters. We’ve tried this before and 2 of those have been failed Michigan D linemen. I called it gun shy. Whatever makes people like you who are trolls feel better

I am always leery about players who suffer non contact injuries. I thought he had high bust potential before this.

That was 37 years ago. What abour Rashaan Gary?

So you will ignore Taco? Also my original post was more on guys who are listed as situational pass rushers who are raw. But hey make your puny self esteem feel better

I said other than Taco. One guy isnt enough to draw that conclusion

I mentioned a 2nd guy long ago. I’ve been a fan since the 70s. Me saying I’m gun shy on them doesn’t mean they can’t be good. Just our history on them. Basic. Honestly I just think the kid is an athletic freak with not much experience. I don’t think “raw” or “situational” is good by me. I may be dead wrong. People calling me dumb overall like some have is just weird with an opinion,

I dont think anyone is calling you dumb, its just the evidence you put out for raw Michigan DE's is two guys drafted 22 years apart. Thats going to get a negative response from people

Cool by me. It’s not a fact. Again just a gun shy feeling on past guys and past “tweeners.” I really don’t get not liking a guy and getting bashed. It’s the draft. We are picking late. Who is right? Why a negative response? Do people know the right kind of guy at 24? I’m cool but confused

The negative response is because you gave a faulty reason for not wanting "raw Michigan lineman". He really isnt that raw anyways. Its a bad take

Then you aren’t playing attention. The guy has limited experience. Honestly you don’t have a clue. You sound like someone who is trolling with no idea what you are saying

Emerging edge defender who should see a substantial leap in play consistency with more time to work on his technique and learn the game. The upside is evident, despite his inexperience.

Weaknesses
  • Played in only 20 games (620 snaps) during college career.
  • Currently projects as a liability against a pro run game.
  • Very few run snaps in playoff game versus Georgia.

OVERALL

Being a one-year starter, David Ojabo is only scratching the surface of what he could be. Ojabo sports a long, lean frame that probably has room for a few more pounds. In turn, he is exclusively a speed-rusher right now.

So you know how to copy/paste a scouting report. Good on you. Smart of you to only post the negatives too. The dude showed he can put both the QB and the ball on the ground. Ill take that over a part of a scouting report

Thanks for making my point. I posted 2 scouting reports, Both mention things like one year starter. Inexperience, etc but you keep being a guy who literally just called me out despite me knowing what legit scouts are saying. Please back away now. It’s ridiculous how bad you look. He may be great but I am basing an opinion on reports. So save the “it’s a bad take.” You have no clue

I called you out because the only other guy you knew of got drafted in 1985 lol. I asked who else, and thats who you went with. You got in your feels, and then this convo occured

You just said above my raw argument above is wrong snd I have faulty reasoning. i have 2 examples that make me wary. Including Taco. I posted 2 scouting reports with my EXACT same concerns. You just went after me for no reason. You’re wrong. Plain and simple. He may be great post injury. But your attack was pure wrong. Stop trolling to attack. These are top scouts with same concerns

The exchange in order....

Taco and who else?

So who "attacked" who?

Folks fight just to fight. I never wanted the guy because production didn't seem to be there to warrant making him a first round pick. That said I hope he recovers find.

Gentlemen, I present to you the Cowboys' 1st round pick.

Or 2nd round, if there's serious ligament damage.

Think of the marketing of getting injured players and turning things around and succeeding anyway-what if they draft the first player with prosthetic legs? Jerseys, media attention, etc.

Torn achilles. Bullet dodged. The bad news is one less player that was expected available at 24. The worse news is probably the pick at 56.

He can still be the inspirational 2nd round pick.

So who "attacked" who?

You literally skipped half the exchange where you said my argument was false and that he isn’t raw despite only being basically a 1 year player and multiple scouting reports calling him raw. This is the MO. Spin and twist. I used two examples of guys making me “gun shy.” Never said they were fact, Even said I could be wrong on how good he will be. I also used scouting reports that debunk your statements completely. JBS called me “stupid” and you responded to him with another example of yours laughing. The fact is I was right about him being raw and instead of just saying “cool” you had to wrongly press. It’s crazy how you are trying to act like a guy who isn’t that seasoned is not raw. It’s also crazy you are acting like you know how good he will be. You and JBS can move along. I’m done with the trolling. I hope the kid recovers and is great
