Joshmvii;4709805 said:I like beating the Giants, but I'm not going to make fun of a 22 year old or whatever kid who got upset that he let his team down.
I'd rather have the guy crying over his fumble than the guy who doesn't care that he did it.
yep, he was:cry:         :cry:links18;4715434 said:Not even sure he is crying. It could be sweat; he could have allergies; he might be having a migraine with autonomic symptoms......yeah, he was crying.![]()

You don't cry during the game. Get upset and kick stuff around and get pissed and yell, that's fine. But to boo-hoo on the sidelines in front of millions on the biggest stage to start the season is not going to get you any respect from your peers around the league. Teams will now be targeting him even more to get in his head.

You work your whole life to make it to the NFL.. 5,000 hours in the gym, you make the team, you are getting into a game, not just any game, but a Season Opening game on National Television in front of 82,000 people, with millions more watching on tv, including all your friends and family. Your team is driving and you make a mistake and lose the momentum in a game you might have won.
Nah, thats not pressure.. Im sure that whatever you do for a living, you've been stressed out over much less.
Im sure JPP gave him a lifesaver, Coughlin had a chat with him, and Tuck took him to the strip club after the game to cool him off. The kid might never fumble again.
In this day and age of athletes who couldnt tell you who a hall of famer is, where we on the boards care more about our teams than many of the players who are on the teams, and were many players care more about making a sportscenter highlight reel than in a win, I'll take some fire and emotion anyday.
