Our line is pretty much set. It's looking MUCH better than it did less than a year ago. Look out NFL. The Boys just got a little meaner up front. Davis and Colombo will make Julius, Marion, and Romo all look like all word superstars.

The hate for jones as a GM goes like this....for 10 years he put our team in such a disarray, it took parcells 4 years just to get us out of it! and we are still not there! what did jones do? he only overpaid for one of the biggest busts in recent history...he overpaid for a one year wonder in gurode...he overpaid for brad johnson...who is finished...all jerry does is overpay...he overpaid for rivera,,he was done...he overpaid for henry in my opinion. He hasnt done much but be injured. He overpaid for Roy Williams and now we couldnt get rid of him if we tried! He brought in a player that ran out Parcells! The question is what has he done that has been smart in the last 10 years....and dont get me started on the drafts the last 10 years before parcells got here. Dont get me started on the Galloway trade! Come on man I cant even believe you just made that statement bleustar!?????????????? Do you know anything about football?

So this is what I will say about Jerry. The two things he does consistently.

He latches onto a player, or a theory about a player and nothing gets in his way to stop him from getting him. I.E. Quincy Carter, Tony Dixon. Carver, Ekuban....should I stop now?

He also overpays for mediocre players. Those are the two things he does consistently. If that wins a championship then so be it! LOL....it never will. Bleu Star you need to take out what Bill has done the past 4 years and then look at our team. Dont look at what BP did in talent acquistions and mix it in with the stupid mistakes Jerry has made and say that Jerry is a God.....what a joke...I mean look at all the mistakes Jerry made the past 4 years....Wiley, Price, Anthony Thomas, TO...the list goes on. The thing about it is this. Almost everything that Jerry does individually from a GM standpoint with no help he screws up. You need to face that. He wants to know what to do but he just doesnt and that's the truth. I wish it wasnt so but it is. The only thing he has done right in the past 4 years is hire Parcells and semi-get out of the way.

No he wasn't but he can't maul at guard like Bigg. The right side of the line is instantly improved. (from a starters perspective) We still need to add some quality depth or groom our current backups with more PT in the pre-season.

Jerry doesn't act alone. I'm surprised you pimp this "do you even know about football attitude". This from a person that clearly stated "it's ova!!! The apocalypse is here!!! Davis at Tackle!" The options were always open as to where he would play and they ultimately wanted him at Guard. They signed him with the hope that Colombo would resign. Hey guess what C.L.??? It worked out! Amazing how that works eh... You have a little confidence in the powers that be and they come through. You should take a little something from that.

With regards to Jerry's GM history, I simply point to the progression of someone that does a job for a number of years. You start off a bit green and you screw a few things up. As time goes on you become seasoned at what you do. It's called progression. This can be applied to anything including the game we all know and love. Jerry has made mistakes with the best of them but as he has grown and continued to make decisions he has began to make more informed decisions. He leans on others for input. He's not going out and pulling a Snyder every year.

You can continue to harp on the green past and I will continue to appreciate what he is currently bringing to this team. He has resigned some key players and brought in Bigg to give us a nasty presence on the right side of the line.

Our line dominates some games this year.
