The Cowboys waived rookie cornerback Dax Swanson, who was inactive Sunday. With Orlando Scandrick missing a portion of the opener against the New York Giants because of a hamstring strain the Cowboys could look to get a more veteran corner for insurance.

Woah, woah, woah! It's a process. And as such, you gotta start small. First up, the assistant equipment manager. He's a fine human being, a real joy to work with... but things didn't work out for him here and we wish him the best on future endeavors. Water boy....we loved how he approached the game and battled to be here, but things ultimately didn't work out here. Undoubtedly, he'll be a face we'll see around the league for years to come.
