i know it's just a mock but i would be very disapointed with this draft for us.

i dont want prince if there is a free agency before the draft and we plug other holes then i may change my mind but as of right now no thanks . what's heywards deal injury wise? didnt he have TJ? i know it's not as bad as baseball but still it's a pretty big surgury and a risk for such a high pick.

curious, everyone and there mother has been mocking deunta to us in round 4 for weeks, he didnt do a thing at the combine are you assuming he has a great pro day? or is he rising because of his peers sorta disapointed?

He should be ready for any OTAs that will take place. Def will be ready for TC

Id love Deunta too. But with word Dallas has talked to Prince and talked to him about switching to S along with other players they'd draft in terms of CB turning to S. I think thats where they might be going.

And Deunta is the best safety and might be a better talent then peterson. He's going to be ready for 2011 season. If he wasnt injured he'd be a top 15 pick. Injury or not you cant ignore how good this guy is. I think 2nd rd is even a steal

cool thanks man . i have heard nothing but good things about duenta and IMO if he is healthy i say we grab him in r2 then , Most people like him better than moore who is suppossed to be a early to mid 2nd rounder. And while i know people are taking prince for CB there will be value at cb in r3 and 4 , and i just dont want to miss out on a o-lineman in r1.

And once again we ignore the O line. Fail.
7 in the first round taken and only 1 in the second round. There still would be some pretty good prospects in the third going by that mock.

Yeah, what happened to Mike Pouncey btw in this mock? He's a 3rd round guy? And Greenbay takes ILB in both the first and second rounds?

I would have to say I disagree with Washington's pick of Mallett at #10, but being the bonehead he is, I am fully supportive of this pick. :laugh2:

No way we take Heyward over Phil Taylor. Some mocks have Taylor going in the first round.

I thought you did a nice job. The places where I disagree:

I doubt Mallett gets drafted in the first round. After watching his press conference, a lot of teams will remove him from their boards entirely. If he can't handle a press conference during a job interview, how will he do after throwing four interceptions and causing his team to lose? It wouldn't surprise me to see him fall to the third or fourth round--regardless of his arm. Having said that, it only takes one team, right?

I doubt Jimmy Smith goes in the first, imo he was exposed at the combine. I wouldn't be surprised to see him fall to the third also.

IMO, Herzlich is a late round draft pick, if he is drafted at all. I think he is likely to go undrafted. Regardless of how good he was before cancer, he isn't that talent anymore. And while tv can be sentimental, the NFL is dog eat dog.

Overall, considering the number of players you placed, I thought it was a realistic scenario. And thanks for not introducing trades. As soon as I see those I stop reading.
