Day 2 Edges

In the event we are able to trade down checking out some of the other Edge options and there a few I like on day 2.

Gabe Jacas
Dani Dennis Sutton
Derrick Moore

Jacas and Dennis Sutton had back to back 8+ sack seasons and Moore is coming off good production with a bigger role this year. Jacas seems like the most technical but Sutton and Moore seem to have the louder traits. Not sure I see much difference in these bigger bodied guys than someone like Parker who I think is being way overrated.

I can't remember the last time we had success with an edge drafted beyond early 2nd rd. Heck, the first rounders are a crap shoot. This is a position I would like to see addressed via free agency or trade unless one of the top guys falls to 12.

They can trade back from 20 and get a good edge.

Bailey's running mate, Romello Height is another I like quite a bit.

Cashius Howell and TJ Parker are possibly options in early day 2 as well.

I think DEze is certainly trending like a hit...just need him to keep progressing.

After Bailey there is a pretty big drop off IMO so it is basically a bunch of fringe 1sts / 2nd rounders.

One of these needs be a Cowboy. Bailey, Bain, Howell, Mesidor, Thomas, or Height. I suspect that more than one would be available at 20.

Bailey is the only one I would take at 12...the rest of the pass rushers I would consider trade down candidates from 20.

Maybe Bain at 20.

One of the most underrated rushers in the class IMO

Vincent Anothy Jr Duke- 6’5 255 long and athletic with a good motor. 13 TFL and 7.5 sacks as a 4th year 21 year old senior


Malachi Lawrence UCF- 6’4 260 lb muscle up quick twitch DE. 27.5 TFL and 19.5 sacks in 26 games soph-sr seasons.

I would take Parker at 20. He's going somewhere late in the 1st round.
