44: Jevon Holland: We'll lose Moehrig, but Holland should still be there. They are supposedly very high on him as well

75: Ifeatu Melifonwu: Very good scheme fit

84: Alim McNeil: Good versatilite 1T, could last to this spot with splashier DT's going higher

99: Brevin Jordan: Underrated TE prospect that the Cowboys have been all over. Allows us to let Shultz walk after the season

I’d like to see a small move up for Moehrig if he’s still available after the first few picks. Holland is def my backup pick there but i suspect we might also be looking at Molden and Samuel at CB.
Def like McNeil in the third. I think the BC TE might be on our list

I’d load up on d-line in round 3. Draft a corner abs cover safety. Corners must be over 6’0 in the 4.4s or faster.then get dt s and ends.

2- Tevin Jenkins- had him rated 1st round

3a-Paulson Adebo- Tall fast corner

3b-Bobby Brown- 325 lbs space eater

3c-Tyree Gillespie- safety with 4 3 speed who will hit you too.

No way
I’m pretty sure they gave a rd 1 grade on Moehrig
You trade your 44 and a rd 3 pick to JAX and go to 33 to take him
You still have 3 rd 3 picks and a bunch of lower picks that you can use to trade up into 3 or 4 later

go get you guy

Yep.

I’m not that high on Ifeatu Melifonwu though, but in the 3rd round I wouldn’t be mad at it.

I don't like Melifonwu that much either, but I think that's the CB we take. I feel like we'll be just getting another Awuzie.

The good part is he supposedly is one of the best fits for Quinns D. So I'll wait and see.

I would hope to see us come away with either Holland or Moehrig at 44. McCarthy emphasized the importance of turnovers, and both the guys fit the bill.

There is no way we stay put with all 4 picks. It’s time to package to move up and get who we want today

I’d rather sit at 44 for Holland than trade up for Moehrig

Love the idea but I got a feeling the Jags will decline the trade and pick him. I hope I am wrong though.

I disagree, think they want to balance out their cap structure, to do that you need cheap, quality, controllable talent.

This is what it seems like. Unless the Jones' are going to fool us twice in two days!

I think you are right. i don't think they trade. they will have 5 picks in the top 100 on rookie contracts.

If they like Moehrig, for example, and can move into a position to get him and only give up one third, it would be downright idiotic to not do it. To say, nah, we are good because want that extra third round rookie contract............................. geezus.

If you have a first round grade on Moehrig and think he's a stud, go get him. You have the ammo to do it.

agree. he's my top player for them....just don't think they trade up. I'm guessing their top two targets are Moehrig and Holland and are going to risk one will be there. I think they lose as both will be gone by 44.

Ehhhh, I think Moehrig is much better than Holland. Frankly, I was thinking Holland is a third round guy.

I suspect though Moehrig will be long gone by our pick.

I was saying in another thread that I didn’t even bother studying Melinfonwu much because I was so sure we were going to get either Horn or Surtain.

Went on a deep dive yesterday and came away impressed with the Syracuse CB. My main takeaways was that he is a really impressive and physical tackler. I think he does well breaking on routes in front of him which is a good thing for zone corners.
