seems they like Holland. Quinn and Whitt went to his pro day.

I heard again yesterday that out of all the DBs, the Dallas coaching staff spent the most time investigating Holland.

I was saying in another thread that I didn’t even bother studying Melinfonwu much because I was so sure we were going to get either Horn or Surtain.

Went on a deep dive yesterday and came away impressed with the Syracuse CB. My main takeaways was that he is a really impressive and physical tackler. I think he does well breaking on routes in front of him which is a good thing for zone corners.

Owning really likes him too. Said he's a great fit for our D

The more I read this morning....i think it will be either Holland or Molden. I think Quinn really wants another body at FS and they have to do that in the 2nd.

I like the Cowboy's off-season upgrades. #1 upgrade- Quinn. Defense got better before the draft. (couldn't get worse)
Understand the cap situation, FAs are 1-2 yr deals
Too many are discounting the FAs, Basham & Urban who are definite upgrades over Taco (cough) & Smith.
Parsons is very versatile. Rounds 2&3 make the draft, have players that could turnaround the D fast. Hope JJ is listening to Will McClay and not chase some shinny object.

Brandon Knight made a big step forward, wouldn't ignore that progress and jump on a tackle tonight to warn the bench.
I get tired of the "gurus" saying how great a pick is, in later rounds, who 'needs some time & coaching" then the very next year, screams about a position that was filled with previous year & ignore that guy who 'needs some time & coaching". They have 2 young DEs who may have something.
