I think we can remove some of these nickel only guys like Ponds, Scott, Stukes.

Trotter in my opinion, is the poor man's CJ Allen, would be a terrific pick if he fell to 93.

As much as I like Rodriguez…don’t be surprised when he falls beyond pick 50. I don’t think he was ever close to 1st round consideration

I’m leaning against taking a corner next after getting Downs. This is assuming that Downs will be the nickel back. If so, then we have Bland, Revel and Durant for the two outside corner spots.

I think our nickel secondary will be CB Bland, CB Revel, NB Downs, S Thompson and S Hooker. Durant and Locke may be in the mix if any of those are injured or not up to snuff.

I think when you get to the third round there are multiple players with similar grades, so it is easier to pick for need. Now, sometimes there might be a standout there for some reason, like Revel was last year because of his injury, but for the most part it is just a matter of what you want.

Of course, what I want is to trade a pick for Jordyn Brooks, but I don’t know if Miami would be interested.
