After hearing about the Cowboys declining a trade from the Chiefs, I believe the draft gods will punish them by clearing them out on TE's before pick # 58.

I hadn’t read any of the news this morning and didn’t search the Chiefs offer until I read your post. It sounds like the Chiefs wanted Mazi as well and that’s why the trade was nixed.

In a weird way, that actually makes me feel better about the Mazi pick. If Dallas was willing to forego additional draft capital to ensure they got Mazi, it makes me more hopeful that they have a grand vision for his role and fit in our defense. This is a case of if you really want a player, sometimes it’s best to not get cute.

Joking aside on double dipping at DT I love Adetomi as an option if he’s there.

Talk about having serious juice at DT with him and Mazi.
