Wouldn't mind using one of our eight 5th round picks on him.

Classic low-to-the-ground, thick fireplug 90s RB build; 5'-8" 197 lbs, 4.45 (official) speed.

He reminds me a lot of Ahmad Bradshaw, a guy that seemingly used to kill us alot in the early 2000s.

Very good receiver out of the backfield too.

I love this kid. Put 10 lbs on him and I see a lot of Aaron Jones. Less vision

His highlights don't really show whether he has great vision or cutting skills. Almost all of them were just of him running through a well-blocked lane. He didn't even have to break tackles often in the highlights.

What I like to see from backs is inside running where they don't have a clean hole and have to see the escape and bounce the run. A lot of college backs look really good on highlights because they simply had to outrun the defense. There's less of that on the NFL level.

I get what you are saying but he has exceptional burst and is able to get through the holes before the defense can get there. Watch how many defensive players take bad angles.

We should definitely look at a day 3 rb.

You don't usually get those kinds of holes, though, in the pros, at least not as often. If he's just a straight-line runner, that's usually not enough. I just didn't see much wiggle. Doesn't mean he doesn't have it, just that those clips didn't feature it. Speed definitely can be all it takes on the college level because of bigger holes and lesser players on some of the defenses you have. In the pros, it is rarely enough. He does look like he's got some degree of power, too, but it's hard to tell how much because he rarely in those highlights had to bully his way through the defense.

I guess we’ll never know man.
