Day 3 Thread

Beware haven’t you heard? Our elite 2nd round TE is a road grader in the run game.

RoJo is going for 1500.
And Gallup is for sure back to 100%. In fact they say he is better than ever and what achilles and second year man Dennis Houston is in the best shape of his career

JFC. Fehoko had a 8'04" broad jump. Amongst draft picks at edge rusher from 2012-2022, the total snaps played by edge rushers with that broad jump is a grand total of 0; because it is literally the worst broad jump for an edge rusher I have on record.

Unreal.

I’m fine if you want to swing at small schools late but they have to be + athletes.

He is far from that.
This whole draft class is a bunch of reaches, it's very surprising to me as they have a good track record in drafting, but this yr, I really don't think we even improved.

LOLOL…

I honestly don’t have words. All we talked about was getting more weapons to keep up and get over the hump in the NFC and we’re heading into the 5th round with a run blocking TE as the only offensive addition…

I'm shocked that Dawand Jones is still available. Kind of not shocked at Ringo.

I'm going tailback in the 4th round, and then just grab whoever you think can make the roster from the 5th on out.

Izzy would be a perfect perfect The Cowboys worship elite athletes.
I'm not re: Dawand Jones

These ultra sized linemen are always overhyped during the draft process. Remember Daniel Faalele (Univ. of Minnesota) last year? 6'-8 1/8", 384 lbs, 35 1/8" arms, 11 inch hands. Faalele was drafted by the Ravens in the 4th round last year.

Dawand Jones red flagged for multiple medical issues.

Jones is a better player than Faalele.

This happened often to Faalele:

Dawand Jones was really good at the Senior Bowl; although he was hold at the end of that one rep.

Yeah, I think despite all the hype, Clark did look a bit lost out there last year but understandable having missed so much on the field reps during training camp and preseason. I really hope the lights come on this season as I was really high on him coming out of LSU.
I was surprised that Clark even played in 2022 (coming off the surgery and no training camp).

He was a little lost at times but not Jabril Cox level of lost.

This draft hasn't been what I expected at all. I'm sure if the offense plays poorly Dak will get the blame.

Fehoko is a good rotational piece for Tank but he will never be a starter, good run defender. I don't hate the pick because it was a need but it was a round or two early; that's the norm for this draft.

This makes the pill a little easier to swallow considering he isn’t athletic enough to be a good DE in the NFL.
