Garrett basically cost himself a head coaching job, that guy is an idiot. We all know about letting him play Barber way too much, and using the stupid wild cat down inside the 20, deep drops under a heavy rush.

But when Flo went out, he had Witten blocking their best rusher, NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE AND BOTH TIMES ALLEN KILLED US FOR A 1 YARD LOSS ON A DRAW, AND A SACK, FUMBLE. (back to back plays)

Last time people, on the sack, Free blocked down instead of peeling out as he was supposed to.

What else can we do? He's got a huge guarantee coming so he's going to be here. All we can do is hope he snaps out of whatever it is thats eating at him.

In his 4 full seasons in Detroit he averaged about 62 receptions for over 900 yds and 7 tds. His year this season represented career lows in receptions and yds. Hopefully he gets more in line with what his average season was next year. With Austin on the other side permanently he will get plenty of 1 on 1 opps next year.

Just have to hope for the best. Otherwise next yr will probably be his last here.

Minnesota was going to crush us no matter where. A blowout and homefield is out the window. We didnt lose 24-14 or 31-21. We got smoked. They would have been all over Romo even if they were ice skating in the Wolman Rink in NYC.

They got there because they faced two teams in back to back games that made no effort to win the game. I give them credit for winning these two games, but they are a fluke more than anything else.

• Need an upgrade at safety!
• OL needs help - and it takes time to develop these guys, so they better get it right this offseason!
• The offensive coaching staff needs help - OL and coordination of all units! The blocking looked lost Sunday!
• DL line depth could quickly become a problem; needs to be taken care of!

The defense made them go for FG's instead of sustaining drives and going for dagger-like TD scores. We can agree to disagree here. AGAIN, kickers miss kicks.

As I noted in another response, we lost to Philly 44-6 in Philly.

As for the rest of your comment, the Vikes were a totally different team on the road this yr, especially late in the season. I dont know why they were, but if the Cardinals, Panthers and Bears can carve up their defense and have no problem with pass protection, then it isnt that hard to believe we couldnt do that as well. We were certainly better than all of those teams. The Panthers did what they did with Matt Moore and two backup offensive tackles playing the entire game.

Maybe it was a poor choice of words on my part. I guess my point is that this year is over, we're basically stuck with the guy and we have to hope for the best. Hopefully he can earn Romo's trust again and become a more viable part of the offense.

David, I don't think this team needs to be blown up but I do think some changes need to be made.

Also, I have to disagree with you, I don't think this game was very close at all. It was extremely clear early on who wanted to play in the NFC Championship Game and who didn't. I really believe the way the team played in Minnesota is almost as embarrassing 44-6. The only difference is that in Minnesota, only 1 unit quit.

I do agree that we are stuck with Roy Williams but at some point, I believe Jerry Jones and the Coaching Staff have to look past his Contract and start paying more attention to his production, especially if you are only going to throw the ball to him 1 time in a Playoff Game.
