Probably all your going to see on Sunday from the Rams. Their line is so beaten up it's probably the only way Bulger stays healthy for the whole game. They'll probably keep it closer than you think....for a while.

I see your point, but if they are going to pass very much they really have no choice unless they keep everybody in to block except 2 WR's. In that case, we can double both receivers. They are so banged up on the O-line that Bulger will have to get rid of the ball fast.

I expect them to try to run the ball if they can to keep our offense off the field. I know their strength is the pass but they'll probably make more of an effort to run if they have any early success at it.

We should also expect to see screens and passes to backs out of the backfield. He is not going to have time to take 7 step drops.

You can have the fastest release and all the weapons in the world but if the line can not stop the rush then it does not matter.

And they'll be max-protecting too.

This is shaping up to be Wade's first "They were starting a real-estate agent at corner" game. And that doesn't make it a "trap game" or any other such nonsense.

The fact is this - last year against Seattle in the playoffs, they played deep umbrella coverage to force Tony underneath, and decided they'd let Julius beat them, if he could. We saw what happened, despite everyone crying for Tony to be unleashed on a defense that was begginig him to throw into it. (We've got a bunch of geniuses here...)

Surprise, people - the other teams employ competent coaching staffs, too. (Well, excluding the Browns.) The Rams are going to compensate for the ineptitude of their line, and Wade is going to have to respect it if they hold 6 in to block or max protect consistently, and do something else, maybe dropping additional people into coverage to combat the fact that they have only three people running routes, and one of those people is Torry Holt.

I'm glad I'm going to be on the road during the game, so SP doesn't have to choke a ***** when Bulger converts a 3rd and 12 when the Rams max-protect and we opt to not come after them, and suddenly everyone has their panties in a knot because "this coaching staff is too conservative."

I think the D has the ability to play any style needed to stop them. I really like this team so far. The D is getting better I think. THe O is playing at an alltime high that I hope they can sustain. How many teams could have overcome that 1st half last week. All the time it was happening, I was thinking, just settle down and let Romo get going. Then the coaches said 'to hell with the run, go get em Tony'. And he did just that. The confidence this team has is unreal and seems almost tangible. Wait till Newmans back to full strength and Terry Glenns back, Johnson joins us and learns the assignments, we should be roaring into december.

I truely think it does not matter who we are playing, where we are playing, unless we play a really bad game, we should be in the running for the win in every game, favorites in a lot.

I think it's pretty obvious that our offense is alot different this year. Give me Jason Garrett calling the plays in that Seattle game and I bet we see a different result. He would have attacked the real estate agent and company alot more. I also like the way he moves TO around and the backfield motion to beat press coverage.

Our offense is going to be scary good. Look at what we've already done without Terry Glenn.

The Rams are in for a long day.

You cant run a pump and go on a 3 step drop, the receiver will be barely 10 yards down the field.

If the Rams start going with 5 and 7 step drops to allow deep pattterns to develope, we are going to have about a dozen sacks.

No o-line, QB with busted ribs, and a rookie HB......this game should be over at halftime folks.
