Not according to Irvin. I heard him talk and he said he likes guys who can body catch because he believes it's easier to hold the ball when getting nailed when it's pinned to your body than just sitting in your hands. He claimed you can always teach a guy to better at catching with hands. It was a strange interview for sure.

Irvin caught with his body quite a bit...and so did T.O. But they were different animals frankly.
