No. They work by the cycle of the sun. It's for the city people. Supposedly it's to save energy costs.

I hate it. We are leaving "standard" time to go to daylight saving (it's not daylight savings time). How can something be called"standard" when it's only for a little over four months a year and the other time zone is almost eight months a year. Daylight saving time should be caused the standard.

I would be all for the losing the hour if it was during the week (like a Friday afternoon), but nope, let's screw us all during the weekend.

LOL...no worries Trouty. I have to admit I had a 'few" beers in me when I wrote that. I probably say daylight savings half the time. I just don't like losing the hour. Just have one time and leave it at that.
