Trade back with Cleveland for a 2nd, 3rd and 5th as they might look at Cole from Texas

2nd Round

Nate Allen, FS, South Florida
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2010): 2.
1/14/10: One of the more underrated prospects in this class, Nate Allen garnered 85 tackles, four interceptions and four pass deflections in 2009.

Vladimir Ducasse, UMass
Height: 6-5. Weight: 336.
Projected 40 Time: 5.40.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
1/17/10: Has played guard and right tackle at UMass, and had 24 career starts going into his senior year. Was voted as a Division 1-AA First-Team All-American. Received a Combine invite.

3rd Round

Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB Indiana of Pennsylvania
Height: 6-1. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.43.
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.
1/9/10: Akwasi Owusu-Ansah's first name aptly means "born on Sunday." AOA averaged 29.7 yards on kickoffs and 12.5 yards on punt returns with five special-teams touchdowns.

Brandon Spikes, ILB Florida
Height: 6-3. Weight: 256.
Projected 40 Time: 4.74.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
1/8/10: Brandon Spikes made a huge mistake by returning to school for his senior year. Some of his flaws were exposed, and it's looking like he'll need a help to be drafted in the first round. Spikes had 68 tackles and six TFL in 2009.

4th Round

Eric Olsen, C Notre Dame
Height: 6-4. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.19.
Projected Round (2009): 3-4.
1/17/10: Notre Dame's offensive line played poorly all year, but don't point any fingers at Eric Olsen; the versatile interior lineman surrendered only one sack as a senior.

5th Round

Mike Neal, Purdue
Height: 6-3. Weight: 294.
Projected 40 Time: 4.92.
Combine 40 Time: 4.86.
Benchx225: 31. Vertical: .
Projected Round (2010): 4-5.

6th Round

Trindon Holliday, LSU
Height: 5-5. Weight: 161.
Projected 40 Time: 4.25.
Combine 40 Time: 4.34.
Vertical: 42. Broad: 9-8.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

7th Round

Kade Weston, NT Georgia
Height: 6-5. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.05.
Projected Round (2010): 7-FA.
1/24/10: Solid numbers for a nose tackle: 28 tackles, six TFL and two sacks

Thoughts?

Holmgren gonna test his relationship with Lerner this quick, by making a horrible trade like that? Come on a high two, a high three, and a high five for low one?:laugh1:

I like it except you could only get a Cleveland's 2nd, 4th, and 5th Or maybe their 2nd and next year's 3rd plus this year's 5th.

Cleveland has a ton of picks though.

That draft is almost too good to be true.

I actually think it's pretty realistic, but wow too good to be true.

We would be set up with superbowl runs for the next 5 years with this draft.

Edit: I think you would have to switch the Spikes and Akwasi picks.

Yes too good to be true.
No way you get a very high 2,3 and 5 for a low 1st....no way. Maybe if our pick was 4-6 slots higher?

Otherwise, the players do seem legit.

Actually that's not the unrealistic part.

That would be fair value to jump 11 spots into the 1st.

No, not really.

I know the value chart aren't perfect, but most say this would not even be close to fair value.

The 27th pick is worth 680 and the 38th is worth 540 then 71st is worth 235--which blows the trade out of the water 680 vs 775...not remotely close). It would be a bad deal for Cleveland. Maybe if it's a 2nd and a 4th (and maybe add in a 5th or 6th)

I pulled another chart that had the 27th pick as 625 and the 38th and 71st combined for 690...so still way off. Maybe we threw in our 4th it would balance out.

And oh by the way, I read this again.

Best mock I've seen on the site. No BS.

I love this draft, but I think you would have to drop a 3rd and 5th, and add a 4th.

The bag of players though is the best I've seen in any mock for the Cowboys.

I would love to get OT Webb late though.
