We can blame coaching all we want, players have to execute. Heath holding at the end along with Dez's two plays where he didn't make a play are things that are costing us more than anything. Execution, bad angles, poor timing of penalties make for a crap sandwich.

Here's to hoping our foes fall as well.

Garrett.. Are you sure you should be posting at a time like this?

Give this sand team to either Harbaugh it tom coughlin and j guarantee we make the playoffs

This is not a bad team
Coaching is bad and there is a lack if discipline, conditioning

This is all on Garrett and jerry and Stephen who determine the culture of the team

A lot of truth to this, ESPECIALLY THE BOLDED PART, this is the NFL both of those are unacceptable and exactly like you said ultimately these are straight up Garrett's and also Jerry's (seeing as how he wants to play GM) job.

5) I thought moving Greg Hardy around would have created more opportunities for some pressures and sacks. I can only recall one time when I felt like Hardy did that. Very disappointing.

I'm starting to think for many reasons (mostly he isn worth it) he might not be here next year.

2) Tampa Bay has some talented defensive players on their front seven, but not to the point that they should have shut down the Dallas running game. I didn't see many running lanes for the backs, but I also noticed there were too many times where either Darren McFadden or Christine Michael were not as decisive as they needed to be and the ground game suffered because of it.

Yes, the hesitant McFadden showed back up, not hitting the holes well, showing poor vision when cutbacks were available. It seems he's only going to be as good as the play is blocked. If the initial crease is there for him to hit, he'll hit it hard. If not, he has no ability to quickly find the secondary lane/cutback, change directions and accelerate. For a fast back, he has a real slow recovery.

Tell me more about the 3 years prior to that...

Other circumstances were different. In 2012 and before = Rob Ryan defense (he was fired from the Saints yesterday. The guy is garbage.)

In 2014, we were fortunate to escape with fewer key injuries. A 3-year old kid knows that's not the case this year.

I agree...
the shame of it is that this year there are no great teams. The Pats may go undefeated but frankly they're not really good. Not sure they have or will play a team with a winning record all season. Last year's Cowboys would cake walk to the Super Bowl this year IMO.
As far as Garrett goes, what continually kills me is his inability to manage games, one thing Parcells was masterful at, same for Beli.
I can think of a handful of games where game-management cost us the entire ball game and that's on the HC and completely unacceptable. I remember the Arizona game a few years back, the Green Bay game last year where on 3rd and 1 we call a pass play when Demarco was yet to have a run under 3 yards. The following incompletion stopped the clock, forced us to kick a FG, and allowed plenty of time for GB to go down and get a score before halftime completely changing the entire game and seizing momentum. We run the ball there, we probably get the first down and we continue melting the clock down to nothing and finish with either a TD or FG. NE game this year was about the same story just before halftime. I've seen people who play Madden video game football consistently manage the clock and game better than this crew.
