1) Dez Bryant has played against some outstanding cornerbacks in his day, but he has never played against one that was as good as Josh Norman was Thursday afternoon. I have a feeling that when I sit down and study this game, there were snaps where Norman was on Bryant without any help coming out of the middle of the field. It's rare when you see that with a defense when playing Bryant, but I believe that was the case.

2) I believe that you would be hard-pressed to find a linebacker in this league that is a more complete player than Luke Kuechly. It did not matter whether it was run or pass, this Dallas offense did not have an answer for him, and he made them pay for that.

3) Was worried about how this Cowboys defense was going to handle Cam Newton and the Carolina zone-read scheme. I believed that we were going to see Newton pull the ball more and test these defensive ends, but when he did, there was a defender there waiting for him. The discipline was one of the few bright spots in the game.

Broaddus fails to make mention of how poorly the Dallas secondary played. Other than Jones, the CBs and safeties couldn't cover anyone and continually allowed first-down big-plays on 3rd and long.

IMO, the front seven is very good. The secondary, though, needs a serious upgrade, even if Scandrick comes back.

The four guys on my first round wishlist are Lynch, Goff, Ramsey and Hargreaves.

If we miss out on and elite QB, I want an elite talent in the secondary

not much in that lol.
I thought what killed us was allowing carolina to convert the long 3rd down plays.
Then the ints, were killers, but on the first one, it was not bad pass, just great play by defender, and then weak pursuit of him,
no way that should have been run back for td.
Witten pulled up thinking someone else would get the guy, and also if witten were more aware, he could have run into kuechly and no int!
Also dez stopped and chatted while this guy ran for td !!1!! lol Dez dont do tackles, not his job! wants aNother 5 mil a year for tackling.

The 2nd td I think, the one to witten again, was well thrown, but K was in front of witten and stole the ball, and wit does nothing !
They should teach these guys to commit pass intereference to prevent a int !!
All wit had to do is grab the guys arm as ball was arriving.
