Block Party: Bennett Working With Ware

[FONT=verdana, geneva]Don't let tight end Martellus Bennett's carefree attitude fool you. He's constantly working to get better. There's a reason he's been the surprise of training camp, and it's not his fine work on Twitter @MartyBTV. (You're welcome, Martellus.)
After Sunday's morning practice, Bennett worked on his blocking technique with the best possible partner: last year's sack king DeMarcus Ware.
"I'm working with him on getting back set and just different stuff that the defense will try to do and how to counter that," Bennett said. "He's if not the best player in the NFL, one of the top three. When you can go against a guy like that, it's pretty fun."
The Cowboys plan to use a steady diet of two-tight end sets featuring Jason Witten and Bennett. Both are excellent receiving tight ends, but they also must block well to protect Romo and create holes for the running backs.
"We're relying on him to catch the ball and make big plays, but also be really effective (with) the run and pass-blocking," Ware said. "I was helping him out on some of the passing stuff, some of the stuff I might try to do to set him up and really just keep him honest."
