Rookie receiver Dez Bryant said he’s already been warned to watch out for players such as Tennessee’s Cortland Finnegan, who is considered one of the more aggressive, if not borderline-dirty, players.

“Coach (Ray) Sherman and Coach (Jason) Garrett explained to us that some of their players want to keep going,” Bryant said Thursday. “They wanted to make sure that after the play, just get back to the huddle and don’t do anything crazy.”

See, our coaches are on top of everything. And anyhow, if anyone intentionally hurts Dez, I will jump through the TV screen and whoop some tail.

Finnegan is one of the most overrated cb's of all time. He is a dirty pos that is going to get it handed to him byt Dez, Miles and Roy one play afetr another

I beg to differ, Cortland is a top 10 cornerback who lays major wood. Just because we are facing him does not mean he just sucks...

No way is Finnegan a top 10 corner. He hits well, and he's good at blitzing off the corner, but when it comes to coverage he's nothing special.

Looks like he's more on the dirty side.

I expect our passing game will give them problems Sunday... I hope Dallas gives Felix the ball more though.

This is getting ridiculous. Just play the game bit makes us come across as punks if we keep discussing whether they play dirty or not.

Since 2007, Finnegan has been flagged for four personal fouls -- or twice as many as the entire Dallas Cowboys team during that time. Finnegan also has been flagged for six unnecessary roughness penalties, a roughing the passer penalty and a 15-yard facemask penalty.

This season, Finnegan already has committed two personal fouls, which is more than 28 other TEAMS. The only team with more personal fouls than Finnegan alone is ... the Titans, who have three other personal fouls in addition to Finnegan's two. The Titans have committed five personal fouls, and the entire rest of the league has committed only 12.

WOW.

Shouldn't take the jury long to deliberate on this one.

Finnegan is a loose cannon.

Has he been fined for some of this stuff?

Surely he has.

Finnegan has been fined $10,000 for the Broncos "incident".... He has also been warned by the NFL that anymore calls can result in harsher punishment.

Just beat them on the scoreboard and don't worry about the rest of what they like to do. Nothing shuts a team up better than beating them on the scoreboard.

Well, it would be nice to see the penalties work in OUR FAVOR.

A co-worker and I were talking about this a few days ago. Him being a Titans fan was saying how he hopes Finnegan get lined up against Dez to properly "welcome him to the NFL." I for one am all for it. I think Dez will manhandle Cortland's scrawny butt. I hope he tosses him over his back and into the ground like he did DeAngelo Hall in the Commanders game and give Finnegan a wake up call.

If it wasnt for his late hits/personal fouls no one would even know who he is. He is a average NFL corner at best.
Hes going to get manhandled tomorrow.

Was it you when Dez talked about bordeliners ?

No offense only joking ;-)

what I don't understand is why the opposing team gets flaggged more than the Titans when they are instigating the fisticuffs...its BS

3. Tennessee Titans vs. officials: They lead the league with nine personal fouls and 37 penalties, defensive end Jason Babin has been fined three times and cornerback Cortland Finnegan has been fined at least twice. Dirty? Draw your own conclusions.

You wait and see, the Titans will "somehow" be the most disciplined football team in the league today, since they are playing us.
