Cowboys Changing Practice Site

To account for the seemingly endless rain here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Cowboys are moving today's closed practice to the less-soggy outdoor field at Coppell High School.

The Cowboys will practice the next two days, then take Friday through Sunday off and begin again next Monday.

Good question... But I like that they're practicing in the elements.

Sometimes it does seem like the stadium is separate from the team, though.

I think U2 played there last nite, not sure though.

the stadium has been busy setting up for the U2 concert .
i imagine they are still busy getting it all taken down now .

the stage was apparently huge.

Cowboys heading to Coppell

With the soggy field conditions the Cowboys will practice today at Coppell High School ... outdoors.

Last Friday the Cowboys used Standridge Stadium in Carrollton for practice. Earlier this year they moved a session to Southlake Carroll.

Still no word as to when - or if - the Cowboys will rebuild an indoor facility after their's collapsed on May 2.

Good question... But I like that they're practicing in the elements.

Sometimes it does seem like the stadium is separate from the team, though.

I used to think that way but players today are like glass. Always tearing, pulling or tweaking something. The fewer times they have to play or practice in the rain the better. This just isn't the old days where players for some reason were better able to handle slipping on the grass.
