Don't Count On 'Smith-To-Dallas'

Don't get too excited about speculation that the Cowboys might be trying to acquire embattled Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith.

Team sources say a potential trade isn't feasible for two reasons: One, it's highly unlikely Carolina wants to move its best player despite a recent altercation with teammate Ken Lucas that got him suspended for two regular-season games. Two, Smith's reworked contract - he's signed through 2012 - makes him difficult to trade, and the Cowboys now have a tighter salary cap from re-signing so many of their own players.

Ummm...contrary to popular belief; we don't need another WR. We could've had Glenn but cut him because we didn't need him either. I'm very excited for the WRs we currently have.
