A huge crowd showed up for Saturday’s afternoon practice – 13,708 to be exact – and just about all of them are seeking autographs from their favorite players.
But some of them had to settle for a few older players who were roaming the sidelines on this day. Former offensive tackle Erik Williams just founded a sports marketing group and rounded up a few ex-teammates to come to San Antonio for some speaking engagements and autograph sessions.
Williams brought some key contributors to those 1990’s teams, including Leon Lett and Kevin Smith. Also in attendance was Kelvin Martin, Robert Jones and Kevin Williams, while Dixon Edwards has also been at camp the last few days.
Of course, Michael Irvin has been the most recognized former Cowboy in attendance. He’s been keeping a close eye on his reality TV show winner Jesse Holley, who hasn’t disappointed Irvin in the first few days. It’s early, but Holley might have a little something to offer here.
