It didn't take long for everyone to realize Wade Phillips was feeling under the weather on Thursday morning, the coach letting everyone know right off the back he was sick.
"Not much has changed, and I don't feel good," Phillips said. "So, let's roll, what do we got?"
Phillips said later there was an illness going around, but it had affected his coaching staff more so than the players.
Third quarterback Stephen McGee said on Wednesday he had been battling the flu for a couple weeks himself. Another player alleged to be feeling poorly was Keith Brooking.
Though temperatures have been cool in North Texas most of the week, the team has done what it could to keep the players out of the weather, practicing Wednesday and Thursday inside Cowboys Stadium.
