So far this season the Cowboys have won three times as many games under Jon Kitna as they have under Tony Romo.
By no stretch of the imagination, though, is there a quarterback controversy. No matter who you ask, Romo is the Cowboys' guy when healthy. Kitna realizes he can't do much to change that.
"It doesn't make me want to start again," Kitna said. "I want to start. But that's not the role that I have, and that's not the circumstance that God has me in. I'm here to be a backup, and I understand that. So yes, I want to start. It doesn't make me want to start - I've always had that, but you've got to be realistic about your opportunities and just go where God puts you."
