Without a doubt, this seems like primary need for the Cowboys heading into the offseason, strictly based on need.

Not sure if these names are that exciting, but some of them are interesting. Some of these guys have either been released or will likely be unrestricted free agents this offseason.

- Eric Weddle, Chargers – He’s only 26 and always seems to be productive. He played both spots in San Diego and is probably going to warrant a huge contract.

- O.J. Atogwe, Rams – Over his career, he’s been a turnover machine, but it’s dropped off lately. He was cut by St. Louis to avoid a big signing bonus.

- Dawan Landry, Ravens – He’s learned from one of the best in Ed Reed. Although Landry is more of a strong safety, he’s improved his cover skills. He’s only 28 which could make it easier to sign long-term.

Would love to see Michael Huff sporting a star! I know he's not lived up to his potential yet, but he's got the coverage skills to fit this defense.

My next choice would be Whitner, like it said in the article, who does reach their potential in Buffalo (or Oakland)....

Sensabaugh probably needs to be retained as a SS.... He's not great, but considering what else is out there..............

A legit FS could go a long way towards fixing this defense.
