That had to be a rather popular question circulating through living rooms across the country Sunday night.
Yes, the debut of Alex Barron at right tackle didn’t exactly go over well. Who knows, the coaching staff will probably watch the tape early Monday morning and come back and tell us Barron played rather well overall.
Even Tony Romo said he “thought Alex did a good job.”
One thing we need to remember with Barron is that he’s not really used to playing with Romo. And on that last play of the game, he’s got to realize who is back there. Tony Romo isn’t going to take a sack there. So if he’s getting beat, he can’t hold. He’s got to keep pushing the best he can and then just hope that Romo will escape it. But a holding penalty is a killer, and it killed the Cowboys.
Still, if there is something to look forward to, it’s that both Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier are expected to return to practice this week.
