Choice Again Says He Good To Go
Posted by jellis at 1/10/2010 1:43 AM CST on truebluefanclub.com

Another scary moment for Tashard Choice in the fourth quarter, when the second-year runner stayed down after taking a pretty severe blow.

It's especially scare for Choice given the concussion he suffered last week. Though the Cowboys deemed it a slight one, and he was allowed to play despite new, stricter rules for head injuries, Choice did report feeling woozy and sleep in the previous win over Philadelphia.

The Cowboys did not run another offensive play other than Tony Romo's final kneel down, but Choice's return was declared probable shortly after the play in which he was hit by Eagles linebacker Chris Gocong and defensive tackle Mike Patterson.

"I just took a lick," Choice said after the game. "I'm good to go."

Choice had 14 runs for 42 yards in the win, tied for his second-most carries of the season.

3 yards a carry, they contained him, but he was really used to open up for Felix Jones. We went quicker against them, Barber wouldn't have done anything Choice can't do.

I know it's the playoffs and all, but if he really felt woozy, I think we limit his role severly in the next game.

I flat out love this guys heart and toughness... I'm getting close to giving Jerry props on his drafting these last 3 years.

He's totally awesome as a person and damn effective as a RB: they'll hold him out next week IF that was a concussion or limit him big time because he and Felix are the future: it was obvious last night. MB3 isn't part of the future IMO. People get pissed, but it's the flat out truth. These two youngsters are the real deal: MB3? Sorry, but its' a what have you done lately for me kinda league.........someone will trade for him or he can re structure his deal....cruel world........crueler league.

He's such a good back.

Having Jones...Choice and Barber...man that's some damn good running backs there.

Somethings still wrong with Barber. He was a different back, and the same ole back, until the injury. He hasn't been the same since. And it kept him out of the game last night for the most part. That had to have been hard on him.

I think we'll see more of the same as the other two backs are just more effective right now. I think we'll see a different MB next year and no we aren't trading him as no one is going to give us anything significant for him. We aren't going to have a fire sale on what may still be a very good RB.
