Man that's crazy! I can't wait until that mammoth stadium opens!

The last picture shows it best. Where the glass is being installed you can see it is slightly tilted. That's all canted means. Not straight up and down.

It's usually the opposite, when it comes to new ballparks in that regard. Out of the top of my head, I can't think of a new stadium where it's intimidating to play in. Of course, the team itself is the real reason for the intimidation, but this new palaces are designed for the players to be at safe distances from the fans, which guards them against their pressure.
The Dullphins ( Orange Bowl ), Beagles ( Vet Stadium ), Steelers ( Three Rivers stadium ), Commanders ( RFK ), and I'm sure there are others, haven't been the same in their new houses as they were in their old backyard.
I can speak from experience only from the Dullphins side, since it's my hometown team. Going to the Orange Bowl in the old days was as intimidating for the visitors' fans as it was for the players. The seats are so close to the field that in some sections you can literally touch the players. The closed end of the horse shoe section was a nightmare for oppossing offenses. It used to get as loud as any dome stadium. I played in it when I was I highschool and it was a sight to be hold at the end. Joe Robbie stadium ( I will never call it anything else ) is more aesthetic and with alot better amenities for the fans, but the seats are far from the field and it has a " detachment " feel to it that made the OB, and old parks like it, a real intimidating place to play in.
