Welp we will just have to see this sunday. Big difference from Brandon Jacobs and Cadillac.
Yeah cuz Cadillac is better....when healthy.

He tormented the 'boys yesterday and that wasn't just because they were outschemed, playing blind, sandlot football.

Brandon Jacobs is decent, but he's not Cadillac.

So you are happy with the way our defense performed against the run? You aren't the least bit concerned about our rush defense going up against a team with a better rush defense? If not what makes you so confident?
Did I say I was happy Ms. Silverstone? Or in my "Touch of Hostility" thread did I not say it was not good enough?

There's a real wide chasm between criticism and fatalism. My apologies that you can't grasp that difference but that isn't my fault.

I don't think Cadillac is better. He has had one good season his rookie year and then been injured every year since. At least Jacobs has consistently shown he can carry the load even though he gets injured from time to time.

Wow, never knew cognitive dissonance could lead to double speak.

I didn't see that thread. Sorry if I misinterpreted your post but you make it seems as though everything is alright with the D.

3 games in a row they have looked awful (Baltimore/Philly/Tampa), how much time do we give them.
The truth of the matter is YOU don't have to give them any more time. You are free to root for any other team you want. Me, I'll be a happy homer and accept the win for what it was. A road victory on opening day. Yes, there were some areas that could have been better and I'll have faith that those areas will get fixed. I can't control a single thing the the Cowboys do or don't do, all I can do is root for them, which I have always done and will continue to do. Those that want to woller in misery are free to woller all they want. Me, I'm happy!

Yeah they played poor run defense and need to correct it. To say run defense was not a problem is untrue acting like the problem can't be corrected is also untrue.

Agree. Acting like there isn't a problem will get you nowhere. Truthfully, i was expecting a more dominant defense than what I saw yesterday.

Its fixable though. We just have to fix it.

I wasn't expecting dominant, but I certainly wasn't expecting a sieve either.

I think they can get it fixed up, but that was pretty brutal to watch.

As was I. What happened? The offense performed in a manner I was not sure they could do with Romo putting up career type number and the defense falling well short of their ability. Dallas needs to correct it and they know they need to correct. They have a chance to show it this coming weekend.

Guys playing the responsiblities better than they did yesterday. Many times guys took themselfs out of plays. Dallas in recent times have faced good RB and have shown they can stop the run.

they've also made average RB's look like super stars.

"We" don't. The Cowboys do. We're just fans (some of us) so we (some of us) just root for our team and hope the powers that be get it fixed. If you can't handle that, then you ought not be a fan!

Maybe some guys did take themselves out of plays. One thing I know for sure that was evident, the Buccaneers O-Line took Ratliff completely out of the game. As I said before, Ratliff is good, unless you go right at him. The Bucs went right at him and right through him. I expect the Giants to try the same thing. We can't put 30 lbs on Ratliff in a week, so we are going to have to try run blitzing the middle of the line. The only bad thing about that, is it could open up a big play off tackle.

Uh, no I haven't. That's just your overly sensitive reaction to all disagreement.

Yes and so has defenses like Philly. I wish I could say no QB would ever make big plays vs us or that RB would never have a good game but that is not reality watching the NFL as long as I have I know we will have bad days even some of the great Doomsday defense did not always go out and play up to their ability. Dallas can sit there and cry and give up or they go back and try and correct mistakes they made that is what teams do. Sorry things do not go perfect for you.
