I'll do a bit of a live blog:

Short version: if you're looking long-term, Ramsey is your guy. If it's one last shot with Romo and Witten, you draft Elliott.

Ramsey is the likely pick if he's there due to versatility. Probably will see more time at safety vs. corner since Carr/Claiborne/Scan are veterans.

Ramsey is the top guy unless he is selected by SD or SD trades the pick. Zeke only comes into play
if Ramsey is selected before them.

So the the Cowboys history of not big for S's, and now they would pick and pay $25 million for Ramsey over paying $25 million for Zeke at RB...and people don't want us to pay that much for a RB at #4.

Versatile at what exactly? Not getting to the ball.

I love what you're saying and I hate what they're going to do but, Zeke is the 2nd choice I believe. I think it's a big mistake
though I don't think Ramsey will be a bad player.

They just discussed that SD is trying to entice the Jags to jump over the Cowboys to get Ramsey so that would
open the door to Zeke. That might be the only avenue to get him right now.

It is disconcerting that they all think Ramsey is a Safety and not a corner, yet we will draft him to play the latter.

Essentially, we'd be drafting him for his measurables, not game tape. Because if he had the right tape, his position wouldn't be a debate

I know what you mean. It's obvious that the coaches and scouts think he can play CB in their scheme. I'm doubtful but, that is the way
they're going to roll.

I think they have blinders on for Ramsey

Now talking about Joihad Ward as a riser, maybe early 2nd

Not surprised. Very big man and he had a great week at the Senior Bowl under Rod. I had him as a under the radar type selection but I think he goes late 2 early 3

You said it! Once they fall in love it doesn't matter any more. They have two players and most likely
will select whichever is there. Ramsey is first and Zeke second.
