Garrett Wants Three Weeks For Camp

As Rob pointed out in a blog post on Monday, Jason Garrett, as a new head coach, could hold more offseason OTA and minicamp practices than those who have been in the role longer.
Due to the lockout, though, there's a good chance he'll be on a level playing field with his colleagues around in the league, and in fact everyone could very well end up having less time than usual to implement their systems and put their teams through a training camp.
Whenever a labor agreement is made, some preperation time for the season will still be necessary, but it's possible the process could be abbreviated so as not to miss any games. Garrett believes he will need at least three weeks to get the Cowboys ready, he said in yesterday's national interview...
