At least the multimedia section is. What's up with the lack of video content from them? Only one video interview of the rookies? Years past they would have multiple videos of their media sessions throughout the week. I mean we are reading lots of quotes from players in the papers but where is the video from DC.com?

And who is this new ditzy host on The Break? Where is my man Derek Eagleton?

It's probably related to the tight turnaround between the draft and camp this year.

In my humble opinion, the've been lacking for a while. The absence of Derek just makes it worse. At least Derek kept everyone on topic and brought interesting discussion points to the table. If it weren't for Bryan Broaddus, boredom, and withdrawal symptoms, I would not even tune in at all, tbh.

it's been this way for a while. you want my honest opinion? Ed is spending too much time focusing on hosting the shows and less time focusing on the multimedia content. it's disappointing b/c the videos used to be great. now we don't even get 1/2 of the postgame interviews we used to get and it's become very amateur

No this has been going on for a year. It's just getting really bad now. I think @Dcowboy84 is right, ever since Ed took over, that section has taken a nosedive. He combines video from multiple players into one 3-minute sportscenteresque highlight video instead of giving us all of the content like they used to. The last two days I've read quotes from the newspaper sites from Callahan, Linehan, Pope, Stephen Jones, Witten, Claiborne, Dez, Frederick, all the drafted rookies and a few from the UDFAs but barely any video on the website. Ed Cahill is good on the podcast, but he's ruining one of my favorite ways to follow the team.

I agree. There should be MUCH more interview content. They are underestimating the fan base and peoples interest in lower tier players. If it isn't Dez/Witten/Romo or a high draft pick they won't put the interview up which is stupid.

Another thing is that I swear that you could watch the full training camp practices that were open to the media. Now all we get is Broaddus and some random co-host to talk about it for 20 mins and then that is it. The coverage just straight up sucks. I just want it to be like it was were they would just setup a camera and we could watch all of the drills.

Ed Cahill has singe handidly ruined that place

I don't understand what Ed's vision is for that place. Does he think less content is better?

They have a search feature on there where you can go back years and watch videos from past seasons. The content from 2008-2012 is night and day different from now. We used to get FULL post game press conferences from Jerry, FULL 7-10 minute long media sessions with ALL players, not just Romo. Now we barely even get it with Romo. He doesn't even have any video up from Zach Martin and I know for a fact he spoke with the media last week. Derek is in a higher position now but when he ran that page, it was so much better.

Completely agree. Maybe there is a way we can reach out to him and he can make some changes. More content is needed. Not just the key questions he thinks provide the most excitement.. Post the full interview and let us get our own takeaway.

I reached out to Ed Cahill early last season when I first noticed the change but I never got a response from him. I guess we need to reach out to Derek but I don't have his contact info.

SMH they don't even have pictures up from Day 2 and 3 of Rookie Mini Camp. FWST at least has pics from the first two days.

It really has slipped a great deal compared to years past. Oh and you are right about the sound bites (best of). They are taking a few minutes from cowboys break or talking cowboys and just making audio bits of them.

It's probably fallen off on that sort of stuff because very few people watch it and they'd rather spend the resources elsewhere. They've definitely been focusing on the podcasts a lot more.

If Ed had come in and interviews of 7th round picks were the most popular thing on the site, I doubt he'd have just ignored it.

If people want it back, trying contacting them. They certainly respond to more of the social stuff than they did in the past.

I've met several of those guys in the workout room of the team hotel during training camp. Maybe you can go there and persuade them...

I am not sure what you are talking abut. There are two videos up of rookie minicamp practices where you can actually watch the guys practice which you never saw before.

There are interviews up for Martin, Lawrence, Dixon, and Street. There are interviews with Linehan, Marinelli, and Kiffin as well as the Garrett PCs. Leading up to the draft there is stuff from Ciskowski and McClay.

Do you need me to link it for you? You up up the player and scroll through all the recents and they are right there.

If you don't like Eatman hitting on Kelsy and the blonde girl I can understand but if nothing else they got Talkin Cowboys out from the hostage of Spagnola and Broaddus and Helamn do okay without Mickey dominating the narrative with weather talk and tennis.

The draft show with Brugler has been awesome.

The rookies had a quick turnaround and they didn't throw them to the media wolves. I am 100% okay with that.
