The NFL Network caught Wade Phillips eating breakfast at the owners meetings in Orlando on Wednesday morning.

You can find video of their interview right here.

The Cowboys will start their off-season workout program on Monday, and one player Phillips said he definitely doesn't have to worry about putting in enough work is his quarterback.

"Tony Romo you can count on," Phillips. "You can count on him anytime. You can count on him during the season, you can count on him as a player and you can certainly count on him during the off-season. I don't think he's missed a workout since I've been the coach there in three years."

Romo's soccer hobby is the most recent extracurricular activity to create attention, and this is the middle of the quarterback's golf season. Despite the criticism he sometimes receives from outward sources, the Cowboys have no problem with his level of commitment.

You dont play sports being scared of injury.

Anyone who has ever questioned Tony Romo's commitment to this team is a moron.

It's not like they work out 8 hours a day, so it leaves Tony with about like 12 hours of free time. Of course he's going to fill it up by playing sports. Or unless people rather he sit around at the crib, getting drunk or high all day and doing nothing.

The sad part, many have done exactly that.

An unmitigated moron. They travel in packs, and have short-term memory issues.

See, I have a theory. That the more drugs, alcohol, and prostitutes the team goes through - the more Super Bowls we win. This whole 'character' first movement lately has led to diddly - one playoff win and a whole bunch of charity work.

Gimme scissors, blow, white houses, and Alvin Harper blunts. Michael Irvin would come to practice one zero hours of sleep, still drunk - and out work everyone. Hell even Troy Aikman was known to pound Budweisers with Moose and Jay Novacek.

Don't be fooled, character breeds mediocrity.
