Spencer Can Aspire To Woodley's Impact

It's probably unfair to do this, but for Cowboys followers, Greg Ellis' career was always linked to that of Randy Moss. Felix Jones' career will probably always be compared to Rashard Mendenhall's.
Well, if we can do that, we can link Anthony Spencer to Pittsburgh's Lamar Woodley. In 2007, Michigan's Woodley was selected by the Steelers 20 spots after the Cowboys made Spencer the No. 26 overall pick. The Cowboys envisioned him the perfect complement to fellow outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who was coming off his first Pro Bowl.
As things have turned out, though, Woodley has been a better, more consistent, fit for that sort of sidekick role than Spencer has been. In Pittsburgh, it's former NFL Defensive Player of the Year James Harrison who illicits most of the attention from opposing offensive lines, and Woodley has taken advantage of the one-on-one matchups that have resulted from lining up opposite Harrison...
