Deion: 'Pacman' is dead to me

Sign of the apocalypse for Tuesday, June 3: I'm watching the NBA Finals SportsCenter Special last night when the following news appeared at the bottom of the screen: "Cowboys CB Pacman Jones intercepts a pass during OTAs and returns it 80 yards for a touchdown."
Never mind the fact that no one bothered to chase him or explain that third-string quarterback Richard Bartel may have been instructed to throw a beach ball in the general direction of Pacman. It's amazing what becomes "newsworthy" this time of year in the NFL.
Today, Pacman picked off Bartel again during a practice that was open to the local media. And if you're scoring at home, that ties him with the Broncos' John Lynch for most interceptions during this week's OTAs.
Former Cowboys great Deion Sanders took timeout from his Lifetime reality TV show to support Pacman on Wednesday and suggests that we begin calling him Adam.
Check your local listings to witness Deion's "insatiable" love for young Adam. They've apparently been working out together in a sand pit behind Deion's North Dallas mansion. Pacman (oops) says the workout routine is called "The Snake," but declined to elaborate. What has young Adam learned during his time away from the game?
For now, he can just focus on what he does best: Dominating OTAs.
For Hashmarks, I'm Matt Mosley.

"I don't even call him Pacman. Pacman is gone. I call him new man now. He is a new man," Sanders said. "I have a love for this kid that is insatiable. I don't want to call him my son, but I see something in him that I want to love him."

"Just picking and choosing my places, my friends, knowing what to do, when to do it and what not to do," he said after his second workout. "Out of everything I've been through, that's the past. I'm going to talk about the future, but I've learned a great deal."
Hashmarks has learned that the Cowboys will assign at least four security guards to help Pacman avoid his past. I'm sure he'll miss the companionship that his former neighbor, George "Possum" Jones, offered in Nashville, but it's time to move on. I was given Pacman's new address earlier today, but I'll give him a couple of days to settle in before stopping by. For now, he can just focus on what he does best: Dominating OTAs.
