Here's what I would say. 10 - 15 years from now, nobody is going to remember if TO had 100 catches and 1500 yards or if Witten had 100 catches and 1500 yards in the 2008 season. However, if both of those guys have rings on there fingers, then everybody is going to remember that they were World Champs in 2008. If that can happen, then every WR on the team will be remembered as a 100 Catch guy, 1500 yards under there belts.

That's how it works.

How quickly we forget, it was just a couple of years ago (2006) when we had this for receivers...

Receiving Rec Yds Avg TD
Terrell Owens 85 1180 13.9 13
Terry Glenn 70 1047 15.0 6
Jason Witten 64 754 11.8 1
Patrick Crayton 36 516 14.3 4
Marion Barber 23 196 8.5 2
Anthony Fasano 14 126 9.0 0
Julius Jones 9 142 15.8 0
Sam Hurd 5 75 15.0 0
Lousaka Polite 2 21 10.5 0
Oliver Hoyte 2 10 5.0 0

Half of that was with Drew Bledsoe at quartback. And while I remember TO not too happy with how he was being used in the offense, I don't remember him being overly upset with how many catches he had. If fact I remember him being happy for Terry Glenn's success. Replace a few names and I don't see what the problem really is.
