This is probably the smarter move as Loney is much more experienced than Colombo. Loney has also worked with Linehan and he has ran an NFL offense.

Above all else, he also specializes in the zone blocking scheme. Like the article states, this does not freeze out Colombo from helping out.

If they haven't already, they're probably not going to. Sounds to me like they want a guy with more specific coaching experience, which is probably smart.
