Cowboys Sign Two Receivers To Their Reserve/Future List

FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys on Tuesday signed wide receivers Quincy McDuffie and Uzoma Nwachukwu to the Reserve/Future list.Read

McDuffie has spent the last three seasons in the Canadian Football League (Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers) since getting waived by the Denver Broncos as a rookie free agent during their 2013 training camp. In 2016, he led the CFL in kickoff return average (27.7) with two touchdowns. He also had a punt return touchdown for Hamilton in 2014.Read

In 15 CFL games, McDuffie caught 25 passes for 249 yards and one touchdown.Read

Nwachukwu, a native of nearby Allen, Texas, has spent time on the Houston Texans’, Miami Dolphins’ and Seattle Seahawks’ practice squads since going undrafted in 2013. He also spent time with the BC Lions in 2016.Read

This ill admit is another Garrett has really brought back, leaving no stone unturned. regardless of what you think of the players, at least hes bringing players in to see if he can find a gem or two. Nothing wrong with this.

He is, his 40 was around 4.4 but I'd prefer a player in the 4.3s. Maybe a returner with the potential to develop as a WR.

McDuffie has performed return duties very well in the CFL but the field is much wider... I just believe there should be another WR competing.
