Deacon insisted he was the all-time NFL sack leader if they kept track of sacks back in his time.

Wilson was playing better and better as the season went along, he and Malik Collins, and Irving.

I would think the Deacon spot will eventually be manned by Smith since at least before the injury, coverage and rushing were considered strengths.

You can only evaluate a player during his time period, and Deacon was the best then. If your better than anyone, like Jim Brown, then there are really no questions.

Now, its different but if they kept up with sacks back then like now, I would take him over any of these guys who think they are good right now.
