Yes the Cowboys have played the 3 games in 11 days stretch before, and won most of them some years.

But there's no way a team should play 3 games in 11 days, don't care who it is.

When the Thanksgiving day games started, the Cowboys recognized that it was a bigger advantage to have the 10 days off after the game than it was a disadvantage to play one 4 days after a Sunday game. And Dallas always has the Thanksgiving game at home, when the team was great year in and year out short rest wasn't as big a deal, they had tremendous depth, mostly due to no salary cap. Players would play for less at Dallas because they always got playoff money that made up for the lower salary.

But now they play after 4 days rest and then again a week later. That's not right...
