While those are Marvel films, they are not the same Marvel Studios (Disney) that's been pooping gold with the Avengers films.

Spider-man is Sony.

X men 3, Elektra, and Daredevil were/are Fox.

So guardians of the galaxy would be the first stinker from that studio. Although, I think it's going to be great.

True but Marvel had their fingers in it, like they do with current movies. But DC has stumbled more frequently with Cash Cow franchises, they totally goofed Green Lantern, MoS, THe Last Batman Flick, B v S looks like it could be very good or very bad.

I'm not optimistic. I honestly don't know how BvS is going to be a good film.

Hopeful though.

IMO, The biggest problem among many with DC is the over-exposure. I've seen the Superman story told too many times. Same with batman. And I'm only 27.

I think Green Lantern had potential before they completely tanked it the first go around-- going to be hard to get people out to see a remake.

The Flash is probably the only big name character they have left that just hasn't been overdone, but of course they're launching a TV show about him, so that may be out the window.

I don't agree that Man of Steel was totally goofed. I certainly don't agree that The Dark Knight Rises did. Green Lantern was bad.

If Batman vs. Superman is anywhere close to as bad as Man of Steel I would have to agree.

I thought MOS was good. It just lacked "it".
