News: DC: Practice Points: 10 Observations From First Practice

We'll be top 10 in turnovers with all the playmakers we now have on defense. Three good edge pass rushers in Law, Gregory, and Basham. Three high draft picks at LB and Lewis, Wilson, and Diggs securing the backend. That sounds top 10 to me.

If Quinn figures out a way to put Parsons in a position to succeed, however he does it, I think it puts him one up on a Nolan who I doubt would have done so.

And hopefully the Cowboys put together special teams that are truly "special".
Kickoff and punt teams that pin the opposition deep in their territory, and return squads that get good to great field position for the offense - perhaps scoring 3 or 4 touchdowns outright during the course of the season.

Lol That reminds me of one of my all time favorite movies.

Obviously, much of the main concentration is centered on the defense.

It's also true that practice is being conducted w/o pads, so there's that.

Practices are understandably quite tame at this juncture but it's a start.

Steele was thrown to the wolves and he's still on the team so I wonder if he pans out as a decent backup eventually. Still glad we signed Nsekhe as depth.

Glad to hear Jarwin is healthy bc if he has opportunities he is an athletic playmaker at TE
