After finishing up yesterday's round of golf with Michael Jordan, Tony Romo stopped for a minute to speak to the assembled masses, announcing that he believes the end of the NFL lockout is fast approaching.
"I think the two sides are close and it's just a matter of doing the things that you need to do to end it," Romo said. "I think the players are ready and anxious, and I think the owners are as well, to get this season started."
While the lockout has been a long, sometimes tense negotiation between the two sides, Romo said he doesn't think there will be any lingering animosity between talent and management once a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is signed.
