I can see that. Doesn't mean he'll end up there. II hope he ends up being the guy, but I'm not betting on anything. I'd love to see Ryan Williams get a real shot.

No nothing about the RB position is on solid ground at this juncture.

Broaddus doesn't know who the starting RB will be anymore than any of us. He is guessing it will be Randle because Randle was Murray's back up but readily concedes McFadden is the most complete RB of the current crop.

TE: I am going to be interested to see, when it comes to Geoff Swaim and Ray Hamilton, who is the better player. Swaim appears to be the better in regard to that up-the-field player that flashes the hands. Hamilton can get up the field as well, but he is not the athlete that Swaim is. Where Hamilton has the advantage is that I feel like he is a better point of attack blocker. Keep an eye on if either of these players have the type of practices where they could push Gavin Escobar for his spot if the front office and coaches decide to only keep three on the active roster.
There is no way Swaim is taking Escobar's roster spot. NONE.

Yeah, I didn't get that. I think there is Zero chance Swaim takes Escobar's spot...Hanna's maybe. I also don't think Hamilton has a chance. He was just okay at Iowa.

All that means at this juncture is that he's knows the play book better.

If he did( I doubts it) that would make Escobar trade bait for a RB or DB or DT or return specialist. I'm always pulling for the unknown in the spring. I'm hoping Vaughn makes Weeden exspendable

I'm hoing Wilson is another Hitchens
Green replaces Weems
Jones sends Caliborne packing
Gregory alleviates the worry of Hardys suspension
Love preseason it's all all about the new players.

Claiborne's salary is guaranteed. It is highly unlikely that he will be cut and other teams would not want his 2.4M salary in a trade.

I hope that Green, Weems and Collins all look terrific in OTAs. If Free can't practice right now, that could be a problem. That indicates that he probably can't do much lower body weight lifting and will come into the season weaker than normal.

Yes but he can replaced in the lineup

No doubt.

Claiborne has never proven to be a consistent quality NFL starter. Now he is coming off a major injury which makes it even more unlikely that he can do something that he has never done before.

I have all but given up on Claiborne. I held out hope until around the first few games last season... then it just became evident that he simply isn't going to make it.

It happens to the best drafting teams... and right now Dallas is one of the best drafting teams. Just move on (which it appears that Dallas is doing just that) and get as much out of Claiborne as you can this season.

I hate they missed on Mo... but they did find Patmon as a try out player... so that at least partly makes up for the miss.

Anyway... I think you can stick a fork in Claiborne. I hope I'm wrong though.

The best thing they can do with Mo is make him wait till garbage time when they really don't need a true starter in the field...

Even if Claiborne rebounds, he is a free agent after the season that is unlikely to be re-signed. They would only get any additional value from drafting him if it happens this season. Once he is an FA, he is just like any other FA.

I like you ended with "I hope I'm wrong though" MC is the only real draft blunder in recent years. At the time I was excited and thought it was a good value trade. MC is a good kid, but I don't think he's mentally or physically tough enough for the NFL. I hope we're all wrong though. We could use his talent if he gets it.

Right... and I don't expect him to play anywhere close to good enough for Dallas to want to re-sign him.
