Where the Cowboys might have a bit of an advantage is with their play caller. When Schwartz was head coach of the Detroit Lions, Scott Linehan was his offensive coordinator. Linehan had some nice campaigns working for Schwartz while directing his offense with Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. If the Cowboys are going to win this game, it will likely come down to Linehan's ability to figure out a way to attack Schwartz without putting his offense in harm’s way.

For those who don’t want to read.

i definitely think of "ace" and "hole" whenever I think of Linehan.

Broaddus continues to embarrass himself this week. On the air and in print.

Well either that or he's an idiot you can choose

He is stating Linehan was the OC for Schwartz so he may know his system well enough to figure out some weaknessss.

What’s wrong with that?

Not defending Broaddus entirely but I can tell you just read the headline, not the article.

So for the Cowboys to win the game it has nothing to do with our Stellar defense it's about linehan's ability to outwit Schwartz
Got it bb

Think again. I read it. I just think it's baseless.

Just because Linehan worked for Schwartz doesn't mean it's any advantage for the Cowboys whatsoever.

He and his offense are about to get their ***** handed to them by a coach who's better at his job.

And Broaddus is looking like a fool with all of this talk of pulling one out.

Because it wrongly assumes that Linehan is good at his job.

If anything, Schwartz will be the one taking him to school.

our offense has proven enough that it can score enough points to win and we may score 21 against the Eagles if we're lucky.
But it's the 45 points the defense will likely give up because Rod can't outwit a telephone pole.

If you wants to focus an article on winning the game it should start on the defensive side what happens on offense is almost irrelevant

BB was assigned to write an article and did so. It is dumb right now to call Linehan an ace of any type. He has no cards to play.

No, he has said many times that he wanted another scouting job but could not get one.

I heard him say something similar but I took it as more of a joke ragging on himself.

He has had some decent drafts, friends around the league and has a SB ring. I doubt many opposing teams are going to hold the Campo years against him considering how involved Jerry was and that we traded away our picks.

If he wanted to scout, I’m sure he could get a job...teams hire former players to do that. Heck, at the least he could be a college scout with his resume.

No, he has many times on local sports talk radio that he wanted to get back into scouting but had no offers.

He talked about it more in the early years of his media career.
