FRISCO, Texas – For the first two weeks of the season, I was interested to see how this Dallas offensive line would hold up against its opposition.

I don't see Dez having much of a game against Peterson. He may catch 2 or 3 jump balls, but that's about it. Hopefully they will be for TDs.

As for have a big receiving game, I don't see it. Peterson will have no trouble running with Dez step for step and can hold up physically.

I agree this advantage goes to Peterson he is faster and more agile than Dez. Even in the jump ball scenario it is not tilted in our favor with the way Dez runs routes.

Yep advantage goes to Peterson, he is long, somewhat lean and can run and get physical at the same time. If I were a DB judging from the tape I would think Dez would be easy to gameplan for being that a vast majority of routes he runs are outsides the marks, and I used the term routes loosely because his routes are pretty horrible.

Dez can't be the focus of our offense... We need to throw slants and treat him as a possession receiver and red zone threat at this point. Work passes to Beasley and Witten and look to get Williams involved early. The more teams forget about Dez, the better we can come back to him later when they relax and focus elsewhere.

Peterson is overrated. He's been beaten countless times by good receivers. This has to do more with Dak's accuracy.

Both accuracy and route running needs to be a better. Do you think Dez could beat Peterson on a comeback or out route? I only trust Dez in slants and flys/fades in this game.

That's not his best route and we don't do it that much. He's good over the middle, outs, jump balls, flys, but some of those throws require precision accuracy. Something Tony could do with ease.

You will not make a living feasting on Peterson, there are easier fish to fry. He is all pro just like the DB's on Denver and Giants. Our strength is not Dez it is our running.

He might want to seek Tonya Harding's help in the matter.

Just run Dez deep every play to wear down PP. NEVER thrown him the ball. Then replace Dez with Switzer or Butler and keep running deep with whoever PP covers.
