A player that has quietly gone about his business during OTAs and minicamp has been receiver Terrance Williams, who has been playing with more confidence each snap. During the 7-on-7 period dow...

It will certainly be nice having a consistent #2 WR out there again. We haven't had that for a couple of seasons.

Just goes to show you, you never can really tell about the draft. One year ago, everyone was trashing the Cowboys draft. Now, Frederick and Williams are both looking like serious building blocks after both put up very good rookie seasons. If Wilcox or Escobar hit, it is going to make it a really, really good draft for Dallas. If both those guys do, it'll be a fantastic draft.

Sounds like T. Williams, Carter and Claiborne are all progressing as need be. Maybe there's some hope for us after all, huh?
Hopefully, this will continue throughout the minicamps, TC and into the regular season. Lord knows, much progress is needed.
I felt all along that Williams would continue to develop admirably -- wasn't too sure about the other two, however. Good signs, all.

Cowboys need for a few of those guys to hit to make up for past drafts. They need Wilcox, Escobar, Holloman, Fredericks and Terrance Williams to all be solid contributors this season for us to do anything.

Talent is there.
Just got to keep the injury bug away.
I am confident this team will be much improved.

I remember the Escobar pick specifically being trashed, not Williams and especially not the Frederick pick. Most were praising the continued investment in the offensive line.

Under the current CBA the primary value of draft picks is during their initial 4 year rookie contracts. Once they become free agents they are not any cheaper than signing another teams free agents.

Based on this concept, any drafts prior to 2011 are not overly significant at this point in time. The exception would be if you had drafted a starting QB because those don't become available in free agency.

Although TW doesn't jump off the screen talent wise, I have confidence his work ethic will make him a very good pro.
