I would hope the C'boys staff continues to use sound judgment in regulating R. McClain's extent of activity in the remaining preseason games and not try to extend him further than his body is capable of tolerating. It's to his credit that he has managed to rebound from the extensive length of inactivity preceding his return to football. Hopefully, he'll remain healthy and able to continue to improve his conditioning as training camp nears its completion. His presence will be sorely needed in the weeks ahead.

I'm sure that the team's coaches are rotating players around to see combinations for all the worse case scenarios as well. It helps at a later point to know how to play with different players and their own skill sets.
